Outbound experiential learning workshop is for building (or reinforcing) leadership skills, decision-making skills, individual and team problem solving, resolving conflict, etc. Here the degree of difficulty is very high and individuals and teams are encouraged to set and achieve stretch goals. Carefully calibrated activities move participants to explore and discover their own potential. Both activities and facilitation play a critical role in enhancing team performance back at the workplace.

All the adventure activities are designed with care and safety is never compromised. The activities are carefully tailored to take care of both - physical conditioning constraints as well as enough time for facilitation of learnings.

And for true and long lasting learnings to happen – we believe that adequate time must be provided for facilitation. Each participant is encouraged to review the activity, in the light of his/her unique experiences. Thus, each activity is uniquely contextual for every individual – and to discover this takes time and a large dose of patience. Only on reflection and deep introspection do we ultimately reach the “the point of inflection” . The inflection point is “that point in our life when we undergo a fundamental change in our character, being or perception.” And this point of inflection is never reached in a hurry. On gentle prodding during facilitation, participants ultimately discover the power they had – that they had “pushed themselves beyond their own limits” . This is a time for making profound discoveries about yourself.

It is axiomatic, that different people reach their point of inflection at different points, during the programme. Some also do not reach it at all. In this context, to help the learning process, it becomes imperative, that all participants are encouraged to share their “A Ha” experiences. These insights when shared, help others reflect and discover their own “A Ha” experiences. And when these are shared again, they lead to even more “A Ha” experiences being discovered and shared. This really is the most powerful and profound part of any outbound adventure workshop that we have conducted. This is where true discovery and therefore transformation takes place. It is almost a “magical” moment in the individual's life. It is here that the “Strategic Leap” is made or not made.
